NOTICE: As of October 10, 2017, we have stopped selling paper tickets and passes online, as we transition to Hop, our new transit fare card. You can get a Hop card for $3 at hundreds of retailers in the Portland area including Fred Meyer, Safeway and New Seasons, then load money on your card at the store, online or over the phone. If you regularly buy passes for small groups, you can set up an account at and add up to 20 Hop cards to manage. (Set up Auto-Load and Hop will automatically reload their cards when their balance gets low!) You can also buy paper tickets and passes, including LIFT fares, at grocery stores and the TriMet Ticket Office at Pioneer Courthouse Square. Here are some answers to common questions about Hop.

If you regularly buy passes for groups larger than 20, please contact our team at

Policies and Shipping Info

Handling/Processing Fee

To cover a portion of TriMet's postage and processing costs, a $2.50 handling/processing fee is added to all orders, except LIFT tickets and passes. We ship via US Postal Service.

Shipping time

Please allow up to 5 business days for delivery.

1-Month Passes

The next month's passes go on sale on the 11th of the current month and are available through the 10th of the next month. For example, February passes are available January 11-February 10.

So if you order a pass between the 1st and the 10th of the month, we will send you the current month's pass. (The pass price is not pro-rated, so make sure it's still a good value for you before you buy one.) If you order a pass after the 10th, we will send you the next month's pass.

No refunds

Sorry, tickets and passes are non-refundable.
